The world is currently experiencing increasing pressure on the environment, with soil health and food security rising on the agenda. Conventional agricultural management practices have led to the systems being unable to maintain high productivity and quality under the original input level, worsening soil health, and weakening the ecological function of agricultural soils, especially the ability to adapt to climate change.
