Livre illustré, livre d’artiste, livre de dialogue, livre de peintre autant de dénominations pour désigner les oeuvres dans lesquelles l’image est associée à la poésie. Ces images accompagnent également très souvent les publications pour la jeunesse relevant du genre poétique. Comment la relation entre poésie et art (peinture, dessin, pastel, photographie...) se construit-elle dans ces livres destinés à de jeunes lecteurs ? Le présent ouvrage analyse une production littéraire méconnue par la recherche, les livres de poème(s) illustrés, publiés en France depuis 1995, et s’inscrit donc dans le cadre des études scientifiques portant sur la littérature de jeunesse. À partir d’un vaste corpus d’oeuvres préconisées à l’École, mais pas exclusivement, il propose de définir une typologie prenant en compte l’apport de l’image à la poésie pour l’enfance et la jeunesse. Ce livre s’intéresse donc à la création poétique contemporaine (recueil et album-poème), ainsi qu’aux adaptations (anthologie et poème-album), en croisant les domaines de la littérature, de la sémiologie de l’image et de l’histoire de l’art.

En septembre 2011, il s'agissait pour moi de réaliser un premier ebook de photos. Ce qui me sembla être le premier livre numérique français de photos sur une ville, pour une large diffusion. Après avoir publié des ebooks de textes, il s'agissait de lancer ceux de photos dans le circuit commercial en résolvant les difficultés techniques des premiers essais. J'ai donc "naturellement" choisi Montcuq. Un "test", avec 20 photos, désormais vendu à un tarif symbolique. En 2012, je publierai un ebook plus complet mais celui-ci peut être considéré comme un objet historique ! (http://www.montcuq.info) J’ai choisi de vivre dans le sud-ouest de la France. En 1995 j’ai déniché une maison « habitable » dans le Lot. Pour ce premier livre de photos, naturellement Montcuq s’est imposé. 20 photos, dignes de figurer dans un catalogue de cartes postales. Culinary Landmarks is a definitive history and bibliography of Canadian cookbooks from the beginning, when La cuisinière bourgeoise was published in Quebec City in 1825, to the mid-twentieth century. Over the course of more than ten years Elizabeth Driver researched every cookbook published within the borders of present-day Canada, whether a locally authored text or a Canadian edition of a foreign work. Every type of recipe collection is included, from trade publishers' bestsellers and advertising cookbooks, to home economics textbooks and fund-raisers from church women's groups. The entries for over 2,200 individual titles are arranged chronologically by their province or territory of publication, revealing cooking and dining customs in each part of the country over 125 years. During the thirty-five years from 1946 to 1981, the University of California, Berkeley's Music Library amassed nearly 3,500 manuscript volumes, thanks to the remarkable efforts of Professor Vincent H. Duckies. The Catalog of Pre-1900 Vocal Manuscripts focuses on the third major segment of the library's manuscript collection, featuring over 700 vocal manuscripts with more than 3,300 separate compositions. These works encompass a wide range of musical styles—religious and secular, vocal and instrumental, serious and popular—and date from the eleventh to the late nineteenth century. Although the catalog does not include musical incipits, it provides a valuable inventory of these manuscripts for scholars and researchers. The materials were acquired through various antiquarian dealers across Europe and the United States, and while some background information may have been lost during transfers, the manuscripts remain a rich resource for study. For the majority of scholars, the Animal Apocalypse is a militant text, a piece of pro-Maccabean propaganda. This text, however, develops theological reflections that are distinctly different from a justification of an armed struggle. Its themes are even incompatible with the Maccabean movement. It is impossible to condemn the Second Temple and, at the same time, mobilise people for a fight in order to purify that very Temple. After dealing with text-critical issues, this work challenges the thesis that the text is military propaganda through the use of narrative and historical approaches. The analyses, besides proposing a new way of a studying an apocalypse, spell out the peculiarity and the significance of the theology of the Animal Apocalypse in connection with the biblical history of Israel and the theology of the Qumran community.
